A-Z Recycling & Solid Waste Guide

This guide is intented to aid Winona County residents to properly dispose of their unwanted items. The Winona County Household Hazardous Waste Facility is free for all Winona County Residents. Businesses that are very small quantity generators (VSQG) should complete an application to bring their waste to the Household Hazardous Waste building. Aerosol Cans If contains material, bring it to the Winona County HHW Facility. If it is empty it can go in the garbage.

Air Conditioner Special Disposal  Watch for the county's annual appliance collection! Miller Scrap or Matejka Recycling; fees may apply.

Antifreeze  Winona County HHW Facility  Must be brought in 5 gallon containers or smaller. 
Appliances, Large Special Disposal  Watch for the county's annual collection! Disposal at Redbox Matejka Recycling or Miller Scrap is accepted year round. Fee's may apply. 
Appliances, Small Special Disposal If in good condition, consider donating to a reuse store! Redbox Matejka Recycling or Miller Scrap may accept small appliances for a fee. It is recommended to call and verify that they can accept your item.
