Masks will be required when not eating or drinking. Dinner will be provided to all participants. Please RSVP to Ben Klinger bklinger@co.winona.mn.us by noon, January 19th.
This exercise is sponsored by the Minnesota Department of Public Safety Emergency Communication Networks Division (ECN), and Winona County Emergency Management.
Tabletop exercises are discussion-based sessions where participants meet in an informal, classroom-based setting to discuss how they would respond to a simulated emergency, disaster, and/or act of terrorism occurring within their community.
The scenario involves a vehicle driving into a crowd during a community event that results in several victims, families separated, and a fleeing suspect. The exercise will include discussions about best practices for setting up incident command, coordinating the response, and interoperable communications.
This training is for emergency responders only. Any questions, please contact Ben Klinger at BKlinger@co.winona.mn.us or 507-457-6598.
