Visiting Hours
The Winona County Jail has separate hours for visiting inmates. Only non-contact visits will be permitted for all social visits unless authorized by the administration of the Winona County Jail. An inmate may have a maximum of two visits per visiting day and normal visits last a maximum of twenty minutes per visit.
The visiting times for inmates are as follows:
Adult Males
Sunday
6 to 8 pm
Saturday
10 am to Noon
Wednesday
Noon to 4 pm
Adult Females
Sunday
8 to 10 pm
Saturday
8 to 10 am
Wednesday
8 am to Noon
Juveniles
Parents or legal guardians may visit at any reasonable time.
Phone Messages
Anyone can leave a phone message for an inmate in the Winona County Jail at 507-452-9970 anytime twenty-four hours a day on the phone message system. The jail does not accept incoming calls for inmates.
