You have the right to receive notice of certain post-conviction proceedings that may take place. Some of the notifications are automatic unless you indicate otherwise, while others you must request notification before it will be sent. Please be aware that these proceedings may not occur until years after the conviction, if at all. Some are very rare occurrences. If you wish to receive notice of post-conviction proceedings, it is your responsibility to ensure that the Winona County Attorney's Office has your current contact information and preferences at all times.

As the victim of this offense you have the right to receive notice when there is an appeal pending and when the appellate court has issued a decision on that appeal. This notice is automatic and will be sent unless you indicate you do not want to receive it. There is no statutory right to receive notification if the offender is alleged to have violated the terms of probation. However, the Winona County Attorney's Office will provide you with such notification, if requested. If you wish to receive notifications relating to probation violations and re-sentencing if a probation violation is found to have been committed, please check the box below.
